Pause for a moment and think: Are you aware of all the priceless time, energy, and focus you are losing every single day? It’s about damn time for a serious awakening.
Admit it: most of you are concerned with stuff like “Oh did you watch Dixie D’Amelio’s latest Tik Tok?” “Did you hear so-and-so influencer said something awful about Will Smith?” or “Check out how wack this Snapchat sent to me is!”
All of the valuable, precious, priceless, focus and attention and time that you hold is being wasted. Burned away into smoke and ashes – over what? Celebrity drama, social popularity currency, toxic gossip, and other meaningless rubbish that has absolutely nothing to do with you, your self-progression, and your life.
Think of your conscious mind like two hands with a bunch of balls in them. At maximum, you can only comfortably hold up to six balls at any given moment. Every ball is a thought – a topic, an idea, a task, etc. Caught up in our own ego, we foolishly try to add more and more balls until the pile is taller than our own bodies. And I guarantee you, 90% of those hundred or so extra balls you’ve stacked up, consist of the meaningless garbage aforementioned.
Re-evaluate what balls you are holding and throw out all the rubbish extras. Know and truly believe within yourself that they are not needed. What remains should only be what truly matters to you – the homework that needs completing by 8 pm, the dishes to wash after eating, the rent payment tomorrow, and so on. The next step is to rank the important ones so that they take center stage for your sequential actions throughout the day. Weigh the factors and consider what “unexpected” factors are most likely to spring up. Track these surprises and after just a few weeks you will see how many of them are frequent occurrences, which ones are actually unexpected circumstances, and which ones jeopardize your daily schedule the most.
In a clamshell, take action now to consistently hold your conscious mind together and eradicate irrelevant nonsense from it.
